With a variety of quirks throughout the weekend… it is bound to be an unmissable event.

  1. An excellent video of Q&C2, lots of shots of places I couldn’t get to (I was in the Harbour station signalbox Sunday and Monday. I trust you don’t mind me correcting a couple of items on your list of locos attending.

Hunslet ‘Linda’ like ‘Blanche’, the latter currently undergoing overhaul, have both been 2-4-0STT (note the ‘S’) since the early 1970’s.
Hunslet ‘Lilla’ has recently be repainted in original Cilgwyn Quarry green instead of its normal Penrhyn Quarry black.
You wouldn’t have seen Garratt 138 as it is currently at the railways Dinas depot nearing the end of an overhaul.
Baldwin diesel ‘Moelwyn’ has been a 2-4-0 since the 1960’s.
Lyd is currently awaiting work so wasn’t in service over the weekend.

You might find the following page managed by the FR Heritage Group of interest.

    Thanks again.

    1. Hi Tim

Thanks for watching I am glad you enjoyed it. I had a great weekend filming, although was busy ontrain stewarding on a couple of the days, so less footage from those days. Thanks for the extra information about the loco’s I will update the article shortly.

      Michael
