Direct Rail Services are starting to bring their new Electro-Diesel Locomotives Class 88s to the UK.

10 of the new Class 88s are making their way to the UK, and the first to arrive is 88002 Prometheus.

The rest of the DRS 88 Fleet will be named after Woodhead Electric Locos (BR EM1 and EM2). Nos. 88003-005 and 88008 are Genesis, Pandora, Minerva and Ariadne, respectively.

The 4 other locomotives are yet to have confirmed names.
