This weekend (4/5 March 2017) the East Lancashire Railway are holding their Residents Weekend. This is where the East Lancashire Railway are offering a discounted price on a ticket for everyone who holds an East Lancs Railway Residents Permit
Take the steam train to Ramsbottom to look at the small and niche shops in the centre, or why not take the train to Heywood for a walk around Queens Park… there is so much choice!
Prices for Residents Weekend
A ‘Freedom of the Line’ ticket will cost just £9 – giving you as many trips on the line as you like.
A return ticket will cost £6.00 for Adults and £4.00 for Child and Concessions.
How to become a ELR Resident
Firstly, you need to live in the Boroughs of Rochdale, Bury or Rossendale. Also, when purchasing tickets, you will need to provide proof of residency, such as a Utility Bill.
