Last week, we visited the Thompson Park Railway in Burnley, Lancashire, for the railway’s Santa Specials for the year.
The railway had 5 Locos running, including steam locomotive ‘Sarah’.
This was the first time we had seen a steam locomotive running on the railway.
The day was cold, but very sunny, and was an excellent day out.. Thanks to the TPR for the day 🙂
The locomotives running for the Santa Specials at the Thompson Park Railway
Locomotives that were running for the Santa Specials for Sunday were, Diesel Loco ‘HST’, Diesel loco ‘Titan’, Steam Loco ‘Sarah’ , Hymek diesel loco D7076 ‘Park Ranger’, and Union Pacific GP40 No. 6659.
