Today, at the Bala Lake Railway, an engine (called “Diana”) will get the chance to pull its first ever public passenger train.
History of Diana
Diana was built in 1917 to operate in central Wales on the Kerry Tramway.
After a varied history, Diana was purchased in 2014 by a volunteer from the Talyllyn Railway and restoration was completed by the Vale of Rheidol Railway, in Aberystwyth.
The first train will depart at 11am (space is limited)
