In our 20th episode of the popular ‘Throwback Thursdays’ series, we go back to summer 2015. We visit the ZSL Whipsnade Zoo and take a trip on the Jumbo Express.
The Zoo is situated north of Hemel Hempstead, near Dunstable, Bedfordshire, England.
The Jumbo Express runs on the Great Whipsnade Railway. This takes passengers on a train ride around some of the sights of the Zoo. This is great for children large or small.
The railway is a 2 foot 6 inch narrow gauge line, and they have a number of steam and diesel locomotives.
The train ride is an additional charge on top of the Zoo Entrance Fee.
Although taken back in 2015 this footage has not been previously seen on RAILway ADVENTures, and we hope you enjoy this new video!
