In the tenth episode of the series ‘Throwback Thursdays’ we see Eldir at Gilfach Ddu on the , all the way back in August 2014.

The Llanberis Lake Railway  used to be used for the Dinorwic Quarry in Llanberis, North Wales.  Your journey will start at either Llanberis or Gilfach Ddu in the heart of the Pardarn Country Park.

The line runs for 2.5 miles along the Padarn Lake (Llyn Padarn) from Llanberis to Pen Llyn and a round trip will take you around 1.5 hours. There is also the National Slate Museum on site at Gilfach Ddu, entrance to the museum is FREE!
