With half term upon us again, its always hard to find something to do to entertain the kids that dosent cost the earth.
If your around the London area, then why not consider a trip to the Ruislip Lido Railway in the London Borough of Hillingdon.
The Lido is a 60 acre lake and the railway runs along around a large part of it.
The round trip is over 2 miles long and trains are running EVERY DAY from the 13th-21st of February, and there are 7 departures a day to choose from. The trains are wheelchair and pushchair friendly.
Fares are very reasonable, with an Adult return costing just £3, a child return is £2.50 and under 3’s travel Free!
A family ticket for four is just £9. The Lido has FREE parking and refreshments are also available.
The Lido also has play area’s and woodland walks, large parts of the Lido are wheelchair accessible.
You could also visit the nearby Waters Edge Pub & Carvery as part of your day out.
