Over my summer break, I took a trip to Gypsy Wood Park, I have never been here before so this was the first time of being here. Gypsy Wood Park is near Caernarfon in North Wales. it has a lot of model railways, also a train too! It also has a farm where you can meet animals like Shetland Ponies and more!

Miniature Railway at Gypsy Wood ParkAs you enter through the gift shop, you will see a large array of model railway trains, all running in a layout that is Huge!

I am then taken on a voluntary walk around the model railway and get to see where they were kept, I recommend this talk! Unfortunately, I couldn’t take any  photos on the talk.

Woody at Gypsy Wood ParkI said they were a train didn’t I? well here it is, this is a diesel powered Steam Locomotive, this train takes us all around the park so you get a good chance to have a look round most of the park whilst sat down.

Also, don’t forget to shout DRAGON when on board the train, the train ride is covered in my video which will be on soon!

After the train ride, we walk up to the farm and have a look around, you can have a look at many types of animals, including:

  • Shetland Ponies
  • Pigs
  • Guinea Pigs
  • Rabbits
  • Chickens

and more!!!!

Level CrossingBefore you can get to the farm, you have to cross the railway crossing, look out for the train!
