Full Description

The Centenary of The Welsh Highland Railway was kickstarted with a special event held on the 30th and 31st July 2022.

Hunslet, No. 901 ‘Russell’ made its return to the original Welsh Highland Railway for the first time in decades, visiting from the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway.

Joining Russell in steam was George England ‘Palmerston’, which hauled the second set of WHR heritage trains, Garratt No. 87, which hauled Caernarfon to Dinas shuttles, ‘Lyd’ and ‘Hugh Napier’, which both took part in footplate rides at Dinas.

This 2-Disc Set features footage from both days, with onboard footage, lineside footage and footage from a private photo charter

Music does not feature throughout the actual DVD/Blu-Ray, only during opening/closing credits
