Full Description

Hunslet ‘Britomart’ visited the Bala Lake Railway for their annual steam gala from the Ffestiniog Railway and joined ‘Alice’, ‘Holy War’, ‘George B’, ‘Maid Marian’ and ‘Winifred’ to operate an intensive timetable over the August Bank Holiday.

This three disc set features more than 3 hours of footage and showcases the very best that the Bala Lake Railway has to offer.

Freight trains feature alongside double headed trains, the new foundations for the extension into Bala town, and an early start at Llanuwchllyn, as the volunteers had invited us to film the very start of a gala day.
