Transpennine Route Upgrade reaches new milestoneWork on the Dewsbury to Leeds section of the Transpennine Route Upgrade has now reached halfway, with the work set to continue until 22 November.

AFAIK the current Manchester York service takes around 82mins and the Leeds trip takes around 54mins. If the figures above are to be believed, the upgrade should provide those trips in 75% of the time. Not… Read more

I'm glad they have got it done because 45407 was supposed to do the polar express and the mince pie run but now it's 45212 doing it because 45407 is doing Edinburgh runs so I'm glad they've got that done…
