Think run around engine is Riddles 800, I had several, 80064 fav’. Mind you the 82 3Mt was a nice engine! None saved? Before that the M7 sort! They actually had a larger wheel than the 2Mt. And could shift, My drivers a bit heavy on the regulator? (That’s putting it mildly).Lol.

(The meeting), This old meets new shot is the same location as the Jubilee passing! But with the new station completed. The old brick ‘Ship canal’ bridge can just be seen under the new green bridge crossing on the GW Penzance line! Ive added the original layout of the proposed station platforms.(Taken from that same Brick bridge)!

I spend 20 minutes at Accrington Railway Station on the East Lancashire Line, and observed several Northern Diesel Multiple Units and a Heritage West Coast Railway’s Diesel Locomotive.

Just checked Realtime to see if anything interesting is coming down the east Lancs line and spot a movement from the ELR going to Carnforth this afternoon.
