Class 73 locomotive 73968 and class 66 locomotive 66304 behind locked fencing at Fort William having broght the Edinburgh to Fort William leg of the Caledonian Sleeper to its destination. It still seems odd seeing a former Southern Region locomotive working in Scotland.

My transportation to Fort William courtesy of the Midland Pullman. The day didn’t start too well as 10 minutes later we were held at Yate for over an hour. Good job I had a cooked breakfast to eat!!

The Midland Pullman passing Patchway on Thursday 24 October 2024 on its way to Goodrington Sands prior to tomorrow’s weekend tour to Fort William. My wife and I are booked on this tour and we are looking to forward to spending time in Scotland where hopefully I’ll be doing a fair bit of trainspotting. Just hope that the Black 5 will still be…

Lovely photo Jonathan! Enjoy your weekend 🙂
