I’ve not had much time to upload photos for a couple of weeks, and don’t look on Rail Advent as often now due to the new format with a lot of news items to wade through on the community page which we didn’t have on the old system, as they were confined to the news page, so here’s a bit of a catch-up.

I have heard that the Haverton to Preston Bitumen tanker Train services (6M43 and 6E43) and the return are to stop at the end November this year.
Apparently there are declining volumes but it would take around 30 lorries to have replaced todays delivery, and cause 5 or 6 times the emissions of the train.
