I wonder if Merchant Navy Clan Line or its footplate crew glanced 72A (Exmth jct) way as it sped over Posloe to Prince Charles road lane for Blackboy tunnel and Exeter Central? Still going fast here with heavy braking before Exeter city football ground! The supermarket car park (now) might make a good view point?

(Clan Line) Atlantic coast express, Taken from my video yesterday (12th Oct). Back in the day Eddystone, Bl-m-vale, Or 92 squadron might for whatever reason need to run on to north Devon! Then i would bung in water hose and chuck coal forward! Coal on coal was difficult and so little time! Heavy if follow tender sides? Easier to get Clan off…

(Clan Line-The Atlantic coast Express). On time, Headboards good, Looks good all round! But it wouldn’t of run through for St Davids in 1950s 60s? I would of taken it to 72A shed! Its waiting point for 92 Squadron or likes of to take over from is now Devon’s trainee nurses and dentistry car park! So should Clan line flatten a few cars and…

Well done Clive for getting out to see 35028 Clan Line! Did you go for a beer afterwards to mark the occasion?

Hi Jon, No, I had a Latte coffee outside the station! Very nice! And loads of passengers going in and out, Quite entertaining with Hen parties, Rugby supporters, And shopping expeditions! Many passengers on platform moved forward to see Clan Line go through! Blocking my long view? I hadn’t planned for that! Got bit of it though.

Bit of undecided and what to do for tomorrows Atlantic coast express run! Bahamas brought the last one down! (It was always the Bulleid on the ACE) Be it the lighter Blackmore vale, 257 or 92 squadron could run on, But Brocklebank, Blue star, Holland America of the many! Or tomorrows (Clan Line) i would take off for the jcts pits and oil n…

The recent picture of loco Mayflower on the Golden hind express came from my video camera! The picture burst of shots with my Apple I’phone 2020 version didn’t happen? As holding camera in a vice like way with my fingers i pressed the off button on other side of the slim phone! Emergency services came up on screen? In my haste i stabbed at…

Oh mother! I’m half blinded with a broken nose! Overcast and the sun a summers dream (Think that Wordsworth with no host of golden daffodils)? The diesel thingy test photo! Has a broken nose cone! And the Golden Hind Steam tour due at 10-55am turned up 20 minutes early! You’ve never seen such a flap! The guy talking to me raced off because…

I know i write too much but its best to mention what engine and where its going i think? The time spent getting there! The position or right spot? Equates to the footballer who runs about for 89 minutes for the one minute opportunity to get the winning goal that makes it worth while?

And ive no idea what a Gif is! And Ive no interest whatsoever! And ive one Magpie in my garden! (One for sorrow) Oh Lord what else can go wrong?

Nice to see tribute to the Two Castles of the recent Mayflower Steam tour (down below)! I pictured them just before reaching the English channel. I saw 6990 Witherstack Hall on a video on here recently? That came over from St Philips marsh! I had it on Barrow rd, I took it to severn tunnel jct on way for scrap late 1965! I feel sure i was…

I took this as a spur of the moment thing a couple of year ago running to Penzance! Thought it different? No ones done a Banksy with an old steam engine? You’ve got Black, Green or Blue and that’s yer lot? Lol. PS- And did anyone see the two coach train converted into a school library? With all drivers controls and a simulator window up front…
