All that’s left of dear old 41318? A torch cut to remember it by! Does anyone here have its smoke box number? A fine engine the Ivatt 41 2Mt! I done thousands of miles on Branch work with about 10 or a dozen or so? Mixed in with Adams, M7, 82 3Mts n the heavier 800 Riddles.

These are some of the stills from Blue Peter’s test run yesterday. One of these was set as the still on the YouTube film, but for some reason it did not register. Seen here at Winwick near Warrington, it was a great sight, and I think it may have been my first sighting of Blue Peter.
