All I was stating that the ELR can be very busy at times, they do have the resources to tun DMU service to bury and link up directly with the Manchester Metro System.

The Eastern section between Bedford-Cambridge needs to be built with new stations added. And to re-connect rail services from Oxford to Cambridge and to Ipswich and Norwich.

Oyster card applications for over 60s opened by Transport for LondonAfter a cyber security incident when applications for new photocards was suspended, Transport for London is again accepting applications for photocards.

Transpennine Route Upgrade reaches new milestoneWork on the Dewsbury to Leeds section of the Transpennine Route Upgrade has now reached halfway, with the work set to continue until 22 November.

AFAIK the current Manchester York service takes around 82mins and the Leeds trip takes around 54mins. If the figures above are to be believed, the upgrade should provide those trips in 75% of the time. Not… Read more
