LMS 4871/BR 44871 Stanier Black Five Mixed Traffic is seen arriving at Hellifield Station backwards, it runs around the station before taking on water at the water column, it then sits simmering and waits for the Dalesman coaches to arrive, these arrive from York topped by West Coast Railway’s Class 47 Diesel Locomotives 47746 and tailed by 47760, 47746 uncouples and runs back down the station before being replaced by the Black Five, which then departs north for Carlisle on a warm 19th of September 2024.
