I think Heritage rail areas allowing grasses and some vegetation to mature, Seed and die back is good for overwintering birds and suchlike! Burn-back seems to promote new growth for winter seeding! But constant chemicals and its goodnight Irene!! Can anyone get on Flicker lately? And Golds gone crazy! Krugerrand, Britannia or Queens beasts…

Sorting out some things, I find my old BR badge of Bath road green suit diesel days? (Its on the piece of old rail) Plus a Midland or LMS railway badge.
