Your getting about Jon! Did you go through the Severn tunnel? Driver give it some welly in the bottom with a load of scrap engines on! (all through 1965)

Stoke Gifford rings a bell Jon! Deliver shunt and work goods from! 64, 65 steam from Barrow road shed. A right mix of steam engines i wish i had taken numbers of now? Alas.

Friday 27 September 2024 Yatton Station: Class 20 locomotives 20189 and 20142 Sir John Betjeman proceed Ex BR Castle class locomotives 7029 Clun Castle and 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe on their to Plymouth.

Class 66 locomotives in the Bristol area: 66509 Josiah’s Wish and 66415 You Are Never Alone both spotted at Patchway and 66073 at St Andrews Road, Avonmouth.
