(And 2) If signalman (A) gives me the correct tablet, And then a special or a goods train turns up, then that crew cant be given…

    • (Great Central railwayana auction yesterday) Had some interesting items! I bid on a few old single line Tablets that i would take or exchange 64yr ago! Slowing on arrival at a station was ok! But with non stopping express runs the leather hoop would strike the crook of your elbow at speed and slam back against your tender! My driver would…

    • (Storm Darragh), Two trains pass East and West on Dawlish cams! So Plymouth lines open! At 7-40am and first light, the hundreds of river estuary birds head upstream and inland for breakfast! Their normal flight formations scattered by the wind! Disgraceful air traffic control?

    • When looking to confirm unit numbers for my latest video on Realtime Trains I could see that a number of services where cancelled due to ‘Vegetation’, not sure if that was just leaves on the line ir a tree blocking the line around the Burnley/Todmoreden/Halifax area. Anyone any ideas? Thanks.

      • There was flooding between Blackburn and Preston and at Walsden (Manchester side of Todmorden). I believe there was also a tree down at Hebden Bridge 🙂

(My incidence) Of hitting fellow human would mean to uncouple my trains first coach, Then walk on hands n knees over sleeper and track ballast to follow my engine, To push back arm or leg flopped out for immediate severance of my tenders wheels until they emerge? And the final three seconds is a future nightmare for a young driver today!…

    • (Un dos trays) – dee’eth brass door handles each side of an old coach! So different to todays coach layout three pictures down? In the fifties i would put my canoe in those waters on the right, And later follow the curve through the distant houses in my Ivatt 2 Mt to the coastal docks! Not my 82 3Mt though? Rails not suitable? Through two…
