There seems to be a number of Steam Train excursions being cancelled over the Settle to Carlisle route as I was hope to catch three but it looks like just one and that’s being pulled by Tangmere, looks like that will be diesel hauled again.

The 6M43 Bitumen tanker freight service running from Haverton Total Colas to Colas Ribble Rail Preston was operated by an unknown Colas Class 56 Heritage Diesel locomotive and observed passing Sidebeet Lane Rishton near Blackburn on the East Lancashire Line a dull and windy 20th of September 2024.
