The Nene Valley Railway (NVR) have unfortunately been told that LNER B1 No.61306 won’t be able to visit for their Tornado 10 event in early May.

The NVR has stated that Mayflower not joining Tornado for the event is due to circumstances beyond their control. Therefore, Tornado will now haul all the trains that Mayflower had planned to run.

Despite now only Tornado visiting, this leaves the star of the show to haul more trains. Everything will still go ahead as normal unless further changes occur.

Trade stands on the platform at Wansford include A1 Steam Locomotive Trust, Airframed, Sir Nigel Gresley, Norskinoos Gallery, B&E Models, GDMK Images, BBLS, Patriot Project, Holden F5 and Keiths Railwayana.

Tornado 10 event will be added to RailAdvent’s Events Calendar later this month.
