British Transport Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to in relation to a robbery on-board an Essex train.
The robbery occurred on board a train which was travelling between Barking and Basildon on Thursday 24th December 2020.
The victim was seated on the train when he was approached by the man at 12:30 pm.
He demanded that the victim hand over some of his belongings. A fight followed and the victim was put in a chokehold before the thief left the train at Basildon Station with the victim’s coat and watch.
British Transport Police officers think the man in the images could have information that would help with their investigations.
If you recognise the man in the images or have any other information related to the incident then please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 144 of 24/12/20.
Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

No wonder there has been lots of trouble on c2c trains and not just robbery. Stabbings has also happened and even staff being abused at stations and on the trains. Including at Grays, Tilbury Town, Upminster, Southend Central and other stations on the c2c network.
