Train operator Great Western Railway has announced that rail replacement buses will be operating on the line between St Erth and St Ives in June while the G7 summit takes place.
From Monday 7th June until Monday 14th June inclusive, trains will be replaced by buses along the branch line.
With rail replacement buses in use, Devon and Cornwall Police along with security services, will be able to set up secure zones around locations involved with the G7 summit.
Great Western Railway will be releasing details of the replacement bus service shortly.
Once these are available, passengers are asked to plan ahead for any journeys they are thinking of making during the period of the line closure.
The line was closed earlier this year for a £3m programme of track renewal work.
