I was one of the hundreds of disappointed enthusiasts who waited along the route to see the train. I was at Pantyffynon station Ammanford.
Why aren’t these advised so that enthusiasts can have a chance to see these trains when they visit local stations?
After the behaviour of some individuals on Good Friday I’d be surprised if we ever see a steam loco down the Heart of Wales again! There were idiots all over the place particularly at the many unsupervised crossings on the line. Two, in particular, were very, very nearly run down by 2M10 (14-34 ex-Swansea) to such an extent that the extremely upset driver couldn’t continue beyond Llandeilo.
