Avanti West Coast has sent RailAdvent images of the first Class 221 that is currently undergoing work to be placed into Avanti West Coast livery.
The Voyager train, 221115, is currently undergoing the work to get the new Avanti West Coast wrap at Central Rivers.
221115 is due out in service this weekend, with all 20 Class 221s expected to get the new livery applied.
This builds on the recent completion of the refurbishment work at Ilford Depot.
Here are some more images of the Voyager trains:
Alongside the Voyager news, Phase 1 of the Pendolino delivery was completed, with 51 of 56 sets now having the Avanti West Coast branding on their driver-vehicles.
The remaining five Pendolinos are 390155 and 390156, which were placed into the new vinyls when Avanti West Coast was launched.
Additionally, 390042 and 390112 have the face cover design and 390119 which is in its Pride livery.
Phase 2 of the work is taking place at Edge Hill depot and will see the full livery applied. The first set to have phase 2 work completed, alongside its K exam, is 390123 and will be back in service this weekend.
