Rail services resume after train derails in Coventry

UPDATE: Trains are now running normally again after this incident

A train has derailed at a depot near and is causing rail delays in the area.

Trains may be delayed by up to 30 minutes or cancelled.

Disruption is expected until 12:00 on 15th December 2020.

Avanti West Coast services will be diverted and will not call at Birmingham International or Coventry.

trains are not running between Nuneaton and Leamington Spa. Rail replacement buses have been requested.

    • Between Birmingham New Street and Leamington Spa / Coventry and Nuneaton
  • London Northwestern Railway
    • Between Birmingham New Street Coventry and Rugby
    • Between Nuneaton and Rugby
  • West Midlands Railway
    • Birmingham New Street and Coventry / Leamington Spa
  • Chiltern Railways
    • Between Birmingham Moor Street and Leamington Spa
  • National Express
    • Bus Route 11: Leamington Spa – Kenilworth (nearby) – Coventry Railway Station – Coventry
    • Bus Route 20: Bedworth – Coventry City Centre
