Alstom signs £146m contract to bring hydrogen trains to Milan in Italy

Alstom has announced that it has agreed a £146m contract to supply six fuel cell trains to FNM (Ferrovie Nord Milano).

There is an option for eight more trains, with the first one expected to be delivered within 36 months.

These new hydrogen trains will be based on the platform.

The trains for FNM will be equipped with the same technology as is used by the Coradia .

recently announced that Austria had approved their Coradia iLint Hydrogen train.
