The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways have released their latest Coronavirus update regarding the lockdown in Wales.
Since the Firebreak Lockdown has come to an end in Wales, the Ffestiniog Railway has reviewed the situation and has decided that it will not resume train services for the time being.
Catering facilities at Spooner’s, Tearoom at Tan-Y-Bwlch and Cafe De Winton at Caernarfon will also remain closed.
However, the shop at Harbour Station will be open 10 am until 3 pm Wednesday – Saturday, though the shop at Caernarfon Station will remain closed.
Purchases from the shop, either online or in-store, will help towards keeping the railway steaming on through the pandemic and for future generations to come. Please click here to visit their online shop.
The situation regarding the trains running, shop opening, and cafes will be under constant review by the FfWHR and updates will be provided in due course.
