The Severn Valley Railway has launched their exclusive 2020 Christmas Jumper, which is available to pre-order now.
As temperatures begin to fall, this is the perfect way to wrap up with the SVR’s jumper which features Santa Claus on the footplate of GWR steam locomotive 1450 and is available in a variety of sizes.
1450 was built in 1935 as No.4850, first entering service in July 1935 at Oxford. The locomotive was renumbered 1450 by the Great Western Railway. No.1450 was withdrawn in 1965, after working a total of 823,012 miles in service.
1450 spent early preservation life at the South Devon Railway (then Dart Valley Railway). She was then purchased and moved to the Dean Forest Railway, then the Severn Valley Railway in March 2014.
The quantity of the jumpers available is limited, so the advice is order soon to avoid disappointment.

The Severn Valley Railway has said that the jumper is suitable for even the grumpiest of Christmas Elves.
