Trains are currently delayed between Bath Spa and Westbury due to a person being hit by a train.

The ongoing incident is causing disruption to rail travel between Bath Spa / Chippenham and Westbury.

Trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised, with disruption expected to last until 14:00.

Wiltshire Police have released the following statement:

“Officers are currently assisting at an incident on the railway line near North Bradley, Trowbridge after a person was hit by a train.”
