Trainspotting Live presenter and railway enthusiast, Tim Dunn, has combined gin and model railways to create the gin train to ferry drinks around the room.
He has been dubbed the only ‘model village expert’.
He has been praised for his ingenuity as he urged others to set up the delivery system this Christmas.
Tim used a G Scale model railway track which now stands for Gin, according to Mr. Dunn.
What did they say?
Tim Said “I have laid 40ft of train track between sofa and kitchen. A good service is now operating: this train carrying two gin and tonics has just arrived. Every home should have one”
“If you’re heading back to a family home or having time off at Christmas, go on, dig out your old train set and see if you can make it do something useful.
“Or at least serve cheap vodka shots on it.”

What a neat Idea. As a fellow train enthusiast I think this is very creative. Imagine having this for Christmas and impressing your guests. Your aunts/uncles/parents etc. come over and they see a train in the living room carrying around shots of alcohol. HAHA. Now that is what I call a Christmas party. I learn about building my own train sets here: https://tinyurl.com/ydghflj2 You can start as a complete novice or dive in as a n expert to pick up some tricks. By next year you could have your own train set serving your guests. It does not have to be only alcohol, it could be food and other drinks, napkins. What would you put in your train set ?
