Helston Railway has announced that their line will stay closed for the time being.
Although changes to UK Government advice and guidance has allowed many heritage railways across the UK to reopen once meeting certain safety criteria, the Helston Railway have decided to postpone reopening their line for the time being.
They will monitor the COVID-19 situation as it develops and will confirm on their website and Facebook when they plan to welcome passengers to the line once again.
The line and it’s volunteers would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported the railway through these difficult times, especially anyone who has donated to the over £5,000 raised towards their emergency appeal. You can still donate to the railway to help them, with full details available here on their website.

My heart still goes out (along with my support) to the Helston Railway – Down in Colourful Cornwall.
I do hope they eventually reopen back up and running within the Foreseeable Future.
To Me (I Myself)… I Truly Believe once A Heritage Railway is Created, its for Future Generations to Come.
This part of Cornwall, let alone the West Country (Which I Myself, Still Hope to Visit ‘in-person’ someday)… Needs Railway Transportation Heritage.
