The Watercress Line (also known as Mid Hants Railway (MHR)) has confirmed that their heritage railway will resume operation of passenger trains from Saturday 11th of July 2020.
Like every preserved line across the UK, recent changes to COVID-19 restrictions have now allowed for heritage railways to reopen again.
They will have to use social distancing and other safety measures to meet Government advice and guidelines.
Pre-booking is essential for travel, with tickets being available to purchase soon.
Other measures will most likely include increased cleaning routine, fitting protective screens in carriages (if needed), shops etc., social distancing and more.
Full details are due to be released on the MHR’s website, which you can visit here. Alternatively, you can sign up for their newsletter via email to get the latest information.
