LNER offer more than 400,000 discounted train tickets in Rail Sale

North Eastern Railway (LNER) is offering discounts on more than 400,000 selected LNER Advance tickets.

The offer is part of the annual Rale Sale.

Passengers have to book tickets between the 14th January and 23:59 next Monday (20 January) for travel on Mondays to Thursdays between 21 January and 31 March 2025.

To take advantage of the discounts, passengers must book their travel at least seven days before they intend to travel.

Ticket prices will be discounted by up to one half.

Among the headline savings, passengers will be able to buy tickets between York and from = £7.85 and between London and Edinburgh from £26.15.

This year’s Rail Sale coincides with the beginning of . It was two hundred years ago that the world’s first modern passenger railway ran between Stockton and Darlington, the latter of which is served today by LNER.
