has released an update on one of the carriages that is used on .

Essential maintenance work is being carried out on this carriage, which means that this will not be available to book until further notice.

WCRC currently do not have a date for completion, but when they do, they will open up bookings for this carriage.

Customers who have placed a booking or expressed an interest in booking will be contacted regarding a potential upgrade to 1st.

  1. Are you using AI a lot but the mistakes are clearly not due to your really excellent writers., who get it right? Love what you do, but AI is really rather thick. Its showing.

  2. West Coast Railways “clown like” stance enters into another stage ( excuse..it’s like a soap opera !).
    How this company engenders customer loyalty or confidence is beyond beyond belief.
    The bottom line is they took a ( negative) decision to prolong putting proper self closing doors on the coaches on now they are further provocatively, suggest that , you their public, should give them further leeway!!
    Sheered cheek. Whoever is responsible for letting this business ought to look elsewhere, forthwith.

    1. It’s not a franchise, it’s an open access heritage service. The selling point is it’s a steam engine pulling steam age coaches. Arguably the safety regulators are being heavy handed by requiring expensive modern safety systems that aren’t really needed and would spoil the historic nature of the coaches.
