  1. 1970s I’m working 6 months installing water treatment works on my own in Africa! (Local labour supplied), One month home for 31 day rule! From Gatwick and its four engine Boeing 707 to the nearest pub! Ordered a pint, Went toilet, and on return, No bag! Where’s my bag barman i holler? ‘No bags un-attended’! Its in car park! I rush to door and see my bag in middle of its huge empty car park! True! Sat in the rain! Doh. From two coups when my boss General M’ Muhammid shot not 100 yards from me to this, Such the frying pan to fire!
