Steam locomotive to depart London Victoria this week

LMS Black 5 No. 44871 will depart London Victoria this Wednesday (20th November) as it hauls The Christmas Sussex Belle.

The train will depart Victoria at 10:57 and will pass through Park (11:01), Clapham Junction (11:05), Selhurst (11:20), South (11:26), (11:50), Three Bridges (11:56), Haywards Heath (12:15), Lewes (13:19) and Eastbourne at 13:48.

The train will then be diesel hauled after a break at Eastbourne. 44871 will be on the rear of the train to Hastings. Departing Eastbourne at 15:14, the train will pass through Normans Bay (15:32) and Bexhill (15:39) before arriving into Hastings at 15:53.

At Hastings, 44871 will take over the train and will depart at 16:06 and will pass through (16:18), Wadhurst (16:44), Tonbridge (17:10), Swanley (17:44), Bromley South (17:56), (18:26) and London Victoria at 18:45.
