From next Monday (18th May 2020), c2c will begin operating its regular weekday timetable.
While train services are increasing, the capacity available remains limited due to social distancing guidelines.
The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, told people to avoid using public transport if possible, and c2c has told its passengers to observe.
The timetable is subject to alterations for engineering work. Detailed changes can be found on their website here.
For passengers who need to travel with c2c, the operator has said that passengers must wear a face mask if possible.
Other advice can be found on the c2c website by clicking here.

With Benjamin “Ben” Ackroyd being the new managing director of Trenitalia c2c as he has replaced Julian Drury who has had railway experience for 40 years. Will Ben Ackroyd promise to deliver a much better reliable punctual rail service that passengers who use c2c (travelling to/from Shoeburyness, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon, Grays and Thurrock) will benefit from. As well as bringing in the new 6 Class 720/6 10-Car Aventra trains which is to replace the Class 387/3 Electrostars which is on hire but to retain the 74 Class 357 Electrostars. I do hope that Ben Ackroyd does his best for the future.

The time has come to stop shrilly-shallying over face covering, be it scarves or masks: Make it compulsory; no covering, no travel, with instant fines for those flouting the requirement. The majority of London passengers shown on today’s news were men so perhaps the macho complex kicks in-‘I’m a bloke so I don’t need no nanny!’ Are we becoming a nation of thickies?
