Great Western Railway has released a set of train teasers to help keep children entertained at home during the coronavirus crisis.
The Train Teasers test maths skills to encourage them to learn about some of the attractions on the Great Western Railway network.
The brain teasers are part of GWR’s EnterTrainment package that includes colour sheets, a chance to thanks to NHS workers, history videos, and activity sheets full of word searches and quizzes.
The Train Teaser challenge gets children to work out miles between stations with the aid of a distance chart amongst other questions.
You can download the GWR Train Teasers from their website here.
GWR’s Head of Communications Dan Panes said “We’ve been working hard to help keep children #EnterTrained at home. These train teasers are another way of keeping those maths skills ticking over and stimulating interest in the GWR network. We’ve had some really positive feedback about #GWREnterTrainment and have been astounded by the quality of entries for some of our online competitions, such as Build a Train, Design a Train Livery and Guess the Station.”
