Passengers are being warned to check before travelling this morning after a number of incidents which has left Gatwick Express services suspended.
A points failure at London Victoria is affecting Gatwick Express, Southern and Thameslink services, as is a signalling failure between Preston Park and Hassocks.
Gatwick Express services between Brighton, Gatwick Airport and London Victoria will be suspended all day, with alternative routes including Southern and Thameslink services to the south coast.
The suspension of Gatwick Express trains will mean most Southern services on each of the major routes will run.
Some services are expected to run to London Bridge, meaning a limited service for those using Clapham Junction.
Gatwick Express passengers can also use London Underground services between London terminals to help complete their journey.
Responses
Some Gatwick Express trains do stop at East Croydon but not as often. Unless it’s been stopped completely and Southern trains now run a semi-fast service to Brighton that stops at Clapham Junction and East Croydon.
