Broken rail disrupts London trains

Passengers are being advised of a broken rail, which is disrupting trains out of London Liverpool Street

The broken rail was discovered overnight at and means trains running between London Liverpool Street and Seven Sisters / Cheshunt and Chingford may be cancelled or diverted.

Disruption is expected until the end of service today (1st October).

Network Rail says that the broken rail was discovered too late to repair overnight ready for today’s service, so an altered timetable will operate today and Network Rail will repair the issue overnight tonight.
