The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway confirmed yesterday that they are to temporarily close due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

They had hoped to continue as they do provide a means of transport in the local area but decided to close for the time being.

The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway hopes to reopen as soon as Coronavirus conditions allow them to do so.

Anyone with tickets purchased in advanced can use them on an alternative future date and you should contact the railway directly [email protected] for information.
