CLEARED: Broken down train means delays for rail passengers between Hertford East and Broxbourne

It has been confirmed that a freight train has broken down between and .

This means that trains cannot currently run between these stations.

Some trains between Hertford East and London Liverpool Street have also been cancelled.

It is anticipated that will last until around 08:00.

Buses, operated by Ensign and Gallon, are running between Hertford East and Broxbourne.

Ticket acceptance is in place for passengers on the following:

  • Great Northern services between Hertford North and Moorgate
  • Local bus route 310 between Hertford and Broxbourne
