Steam locomotive set to pass through Dawlish this Saturday

As part of the Steam Dreams excursion, 61306 Mayflower will pass through Dawlish this Saturday (15th June 2024).

Departing London Paddington at 07:01 with diesel traction, the tour will pass through (07:26), Reading (07:58), (08:34), Castle Cary (09:44) and Taunton at 10:07.

Here, Mayflower is added to the train and will depart at 10:57. From Taunton, the train will pass through St Davids (11:39), (11:54), Teignmouth (12:09), Paignton (12:35) and Kingswear at 13:14.

After time at Kingswear, Mayflower will depart at 16:35 and will pass through Newton Abbot (17:42), Dawlish (17:54), Exeter St Davids (18:19), (18:51), Taunton (19:48 – Diesel hauled from here), Bedwyn (20:59), Newbury (21:15), Reading (21:44), Slough (21:58) and London Paddington at 22:15.
