Check before travelling: Peak time London trains cancelled

Damage to the overhead wires means that trains this morning are being cancelled / revised or delayed.

The damage was discovered between Alexandra Palace and Finsbury Park yesterday and has closed some of the running lines.

is expected until the end of the day.

says that damage is ‘substantial’ and an 8 hour block will be needed to repair the damage tonight (10th June).

peak time trains between Peterborough and King’s Cross will be cancelled, in both the morning peak and evening peak times.

Some peak time trains to / from Moorgate will also be cancelled, mainly affecting services between Hertford North, Gordon Hill and Moorgate.

Peak time services between Welwyn Garden City and will not call at New Southgate.
