A holiday park in Dawlish, which is themed around the railways, could soon be open all year round

The Brunel Camping Carriages in Dawlish Warren was sold last year for £261,000 and features eight convert railway carriage chalets.

The coaches were originally donated 50 years ago for the use of the GWR Association and their families.

They were later opened for the general public to use as holiday use.

Clearly, the extension of the opening times would have a huge impact on the local economy with holiday makers making the most of the winter holidays.

The applicant has made it clear the opening of the holiday venue is for holiday use and not for his/hers main residence.

Teignbridge Council will decide wether or not to approve the application
