This latest release is numbered 232, and one of twenty 12-ton seven-plank wagons built by Charles Roberts in 1911, with numbers 232 to 241 being lettered “Moger& Co Ltd”.

They were all registered by the South Eastern and Chatham Railway (SECR) but had London, Brighton and South Coast Railway lettering.

Wagon No. 232 is being produced by Rapido Trains UK Ltd. exclusively for the Kernow Model Rail Centre.

It is based on Rapido’s Railway Clearing House 1907 specification seven-plank open wagon with angled brake hangers, double-sided brakes, round-bottomed grease axle-boxes, smooth tapered buffers, and split-spoke wheels running in brass bearings.
